Tritium and NEVI partnered to install DC Fast chargers across US Highway for up to 75,000 miles

Tritium an EV charger manufacturing company from the UK got an order from the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) to install DC fast chargers across the US Highway which will cover up to 75,000 miles.

With an increase in the number of electric vehicles in the USA, it needs more charging infrastructures to use EVs across every side of the country. So, NEVI has invested around $1 billion per year for this EV project which will install multiple DC fast chargers across the US freeway around the states.

Tritium recently last year opened its new manufacturing unit in Tennessee which will now make the DC fast chargers for the NEVI.

The Tritium build NEVI will include four PK150 150 kW DC fast chargers and two power rectifiers that can charge up to four EVs at a time, and also with these 150 kW DC fast chargers you can charge your EV in under an hour.

Now the first set of DC fast chargers will be installed by this year and the second set of DC fast chargers will be installed by 2024.
