The ultimate off-road luxury SUV Land Rover Defender is expected to come out in a fully electric version by 2025 according to Auto Express. This upcoming Land Rover is expected to have more power and improved features which will be similar to the existing Land Rover ICE model.
Also, this new Defender EV is expected to develop under Lan Rover’s new MLA platform, which is also used to develop the upcoming Range Rover EV and Range Rover Sport EV. And both of these Range Rover EVs are expected to come out in 2024.
According to Auto Express, this Land Rover Defender EV will have around 300 miles of range. So, we can expect these land rovers will at least have a big 100kWh battery pack that can power this big SUV.
Also, the electrified Defender includes the standard 110 version along with Long-wheelbase 130 and 2-door 90.
Now on price, the standard version of a Land Rover Defender price starts from around $54,000 and the top model goes up to $90,000+, So we can expect the 2025 Defender EV base model price will start from $70,000 and the top model will go up to $100,000.
Along with it, we don’t think so there will be more changes in the exterior design of the Defender EV except for the interior, So, we can expect the 2025 Defender EV will look similar to the existing Land Rover Defender.
