The audience got the first-ever quick glimpse at the forthcoming volcon stag from Volcon Powersports, and the new side-by-side looks to have been worthwhile. The off-road vehicles that Volcon Powersports exclusively produces are state-of-the-art and unique. Utilizing cutting-edge EV technology, the Stag provides the same spectacular performance as a typical UTV without the noise (or pollution), enabling you to fully experience the outdoors.
The Stag’s fully electric technologies, created and tested by Gm, give the user the freedom to experience the outdoors freshly and innovatively whereas gas-powered UTVs cannot. The entire Stag was set up by the Volcon team in Round Rock, Texas. We are going to take a quick look at this car in this particular blog.
Volcon Stag Features
The Stag has a muscular and athletic body. The Stag will have an automatic transmission with paddle shifters and all-wheel drive without the use of differentials or transfer cases thanks to the wonders of electric motors. The Stag will have many drive modes to let you adjust the throttle response to varied driving circumstances, keeping the electric motors’ quick torque under control and useful.
While Sport mode offers a more forceful throttle response for faster acceleration, ECO mode maximizes range while delivering power smoothly. When in Tow mode, the vehicle’s top speed is limited to gradually increase torque for better control when towing a trailer or other towable accessory.
The on-demand 4WD system will improve the Stag’s ability to travel off-road in any terrain by automatically activating the front wheels if the rear wheels lose traction and by controlling the power distribution between the wheels to ensure improved stability when cornering. Crawl mode also enables the car to go slowly without using the throttle, allowing the driver to control the speed only by applying the brakes.
With the Volcon App and a Sim Card, the vehicle’s distinctive characteristics make it simple for the driver to communicate with friends and the local community in real time.

Volcon Stag Price
With its environmentally friendly Stag UTVs, Volcon Powersports aims to generate a profit. The brand recently disclosed that this new electric SUV had more than $100 million in pre-orders. Best of all, the stag has a starting price of just $39,990, making it an affordable option for eco-conscious consumers. Prospective buyers had to put down a $100 deposit on the ultimate purchase of this vehicle.
It took the company less time than forecast to reach this level of pre-orders. The Stag is likely to appear as one of the first key competitors in the growing electric UTV market, saying the new UTV will offer a driving experience unmatched by that of a gas-powered vehicle.
Volcon Stag Release Date
There is no set release date for it yet but we’re expecting it to be sometime in 2023. The production of Stag will start in December 2022. Volcon has been collecting reservations for the Stag since July 1.
The Stag is an off-road vehicle that they designed to be the most advanced in its class. Using the newest EV drivetrain technologies and focusing on performance and user experience has led Volcon to introduce what you feel is a UTV that will give an experience incomparable with any other UTV in its class.
Volcon Stag Range & Battery
A 42 kWh battery pack supplies the powertrain with energy, enabling it to go 100 miles between charges. That seems to be more than enough for a full day of off-the-grid fun. The inbuilt Level 2 charger allows for a seven-hour recharge of the full equipment.

Volcon Stag Power & Performance
Even though the Stag is Volcon’s first UTV, the company seems to have a solid grasp of the industry. A single electric motor that has a maximum output of 125 horsepower and 265-foot pounds of torque powers the vehicle.
The output may be boosted to over 140 horsepower with an optional power boost package if that somehow isn’t enough for you. The Stag is capable of towing up to 2,000 pounds and reaching a top speed of 80 mph.
Volcon Stag Interior
A cage passenger cabin and a cargo area with a capacity of 13.4 cubic feet for all your things. Inside the interior, there is a driver’s cockpit with a tilting steering wheel and two digital screens so you can check the status of the vehicle and use GPS to determine your location. The system may also be used to operate the vehicle’s two inbuilt cameras, allowing you to record all the fun you’re having.
There is enough interior space for four adults thanks to the vehicle’s ergonomic luxury seats in the front and back. The huge central display will have a camera view, a route planner, off-road gauges, device connectivity, and information about the vehicle condition in addition to other features that will provide information for the rider and passengers. The primary dashboard will provide important data such as speed, battery charge, driving mode, brake regeneration, and energy usage.
Volcon Stag Review
It is an incredible machine and a preview of what side-by-sides may look like in the future. Despite all of this, the Stag has a poor reputation among consumers, primarily because of its limiting range of 100 miles. Volcon would have to reduce performance to increase range, which would not be acceptable to any consumers.
One final point to keep in mind is that no side-by-side is good for everyone. The Stag isn’t for you if you primarily use a side-by-side to sprint across sand dunes at 70 mph, but there is still a market for it. The Stag is an excellent option for the ordinary user who wants a vehicle with lots of torque that can simply be plugged in and left aside until the next time it is used on a trail.
